We are constantly evolving and changing throughout our lifetimes. Some of the big life
transitions we see here at Living Within Therapy include leaving home and going to
college, going through a major break up for the first time, losing friendships as we grow
older, aging parents, and getting married. Even though some of these life transitions are
beautiful moments, they can still bring us an immense amount of stress. This stress may
look like turning away from things that typically bring us joy, feeling stuck, and struggling
to make decisions.
We will walk alongside you to assist you in learning how to have boundaries with your
loved ones, accepting that change is a part of life rather than avoiding these difficult times
by engaging in actions that take us further away from who we want to be. We will also
assist you in learning how to effectively set goals that are aligned with the kind of person
you want to be.
